We're recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming independent specialist school in L18 for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to work with pupils aged 8–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them thrive in a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to meet individual learning and emotional needs
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and resilience
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Encourage independence, engagement and personal development both inside and outside the classroom
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to achieve the best outcomes for every pupil

We're keen to hear from candidates who:
• Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, behavioural needs or other additional needs
• Are calm, patient, resilient and able to remain positive in challenging situations
• Can build strong professional relationships and provide consistent support
• Are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people
