Teaching Assistant (College Setting)
Daily Pay: From £89 per day, depending on experience

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant looking to support young people in further education? Axcis Education is seeking a committed teaching assistant to work within a college environment, supporting learners with a range of needs.
As sponsors of the national autistic society and other notable SEND organisations, Axcis takes its duty of care to the profession seriously, and we work hard to find only the best staff for the schools and colleges we support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide learning support to students within the classroom and during independent study sessions
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support
• Assist learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met
• Promote an inclusive, positive and safe learning environment
• Support students with communication, social, emotional and academic development
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational support role
• Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential
• Enhanced child and adult DBS or enhanced child DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Axcis Education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, proactive and compassionate approach
