Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: L13
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Daily pay from £93-£96 per day, depending on experience.
Axcis Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistants to join a welcoming primary school and make a real difference to children’s learning and development.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and wants to build valuable experience within a supportive school environment.
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupils in their learning and development. Your responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils in the classroom and during activities.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Helping children develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Providing additional support to pupils who may have additional learning needs.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day activities.
We are looking for candidates who are:
• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils to succeed.
• Able to build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Reliable, professional and adaptable.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable, but not always essential.
