We're looking for compassionate, resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in Crosby this September. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students develop confidence, build resilience, and access meaningful learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Role:
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support, tailored to pupils’ individual needs
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver inclusive, therapeutic learning experiences
Foster positive, trusting relationships that make students feel safe, valued, and understood
Support emotional regulation and behaviour management using strategies that encourage self-awareness and respectful interactions
