• Job Title: Teaching Assistant

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Pay: £90–£95 per day (PAYE)

Axcis Education is looking for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a resource base within a mainstream secondary school in Andover. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to support young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs while helping them access learning and thrive in school.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Help pupils engage with the mainstream curriculum and manage emotions
• Work alongside teachers and the SEND/SEMH team to follow personalised support plans
• Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and independence
• Adapt activities to meet individual pupil needs

• Have experience or an interest in supporting pupils with SEMH
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
