Description
A leading financial services firm is seeking a dedicated Trainee Business Support Analyst to join their dynamic Business Support Team (BST). This role provides essential administrative support for compliance, onboarding, and monitoring activities across licensed investment and fiduciary businesses. The successful candidate will also assist the Compliance team in tasks such as preparing regulatory returns and maintaining accurate regulatory registers.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the onboarding of new clients and entities, including collating and reviewing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documents and preparing initial Relationship Risk Assessments (RRA).
• Creating and maintaining trackers to monitor onboarding progress, particularly during fund closes.
• Addressing CDD deficiencies and assisting with remediation tasks in the database.
• Preparing and updating periodic reviews, including RRAs, while ensuring accurate progress tracking.
The successful candidate will have:
• A willingness to learn and flexibility to take on a range of compliance and onboarding tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in IT, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
• Self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ideal for A-level school leavers or graduates seeking a career in finance. Applications are also welcome from candidates with 1-2 years of finance experience seeking a change in direction.
• Either pursuing or willing to start a professional qualification, such as ICA or CGI (ICSA).
