Description

Our client, a leading multi-jurisdictional provider of fund, corporate, and private wealth services, is looking to bolster its Guernsey leadership team. The Role
This is a pivotal leadership position designed for a seasoned professional capable of driving the pace of a busy trust team. You will take on the day-to-day management and oversight of 6 to 7 administrators, ensuring a diverse portfolio of fiduciary entities is handled with absolute precision.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Team Leadership: Providing cohesive leadership and facilitating staff development through structured training and performance feedback.
• Strategic Oversight: Managing workflows and collaborating with Directors to ensure all client deliverables are met in an orderly and timely fashion.
• Client Relationship Management: Acting as the lead relationship manager for high-value and complex structures, while maintaining a gold standard of service.
• Risk & Compliance: Identifying and mitigating risks within complex client services and ensuring the team remains updated on the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Governance: Holding regular team meetings to cascade policy updates and sitting on internal committees as required.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, forward-thinking leader who isn't afraid to use their initiative to solve complex problems.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Proven Experience: Management-level experience within a fiduciary environment, specifically managing trust structures.
• Leadership Skills: A track record of leading teams and a genuine passion for mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Qualifications: You should be STEP or CGI qualified (or currently working towards a similar professional qualification).
• Technical Proficiency: Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as an authorized 'B' signatory.
• Professional Integrity: A commitment to maintaining CPD hours and adhering to strict internal controls and regulatory obligations.
