Description

A well-established financial services provider is seeking an experienced Trust Officer to take responsibility for a designated portfolio of trusts and corporate structures, ensuring high-quality client service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day administration of trusts and corporate structures, including cash management, payments, exercising discretionary powers, and maintaining statutory records.
• Oversee the review and monitoring of investment portfolios in line with company policies and procedures.
• Act as a primary or back-up relationship manager, fostering strong and lasting client relationships.
• Ensure accurate recording of chargeable time, prompt invoicing, and follow-up on aged debtors.
• Participate in client meetings, prepare documentation, and follow up on action points.
• Support the team by delegating tasks, providing feedback, and ensuring training needs are met.
• Maintain compliance with CDD, AML, and regulatory requirements, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Promote efficiency and teamwork while contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required
• Minimum of four to five years’ relevant experience in trust and company administration.
• Near completion of a relevant professional qualification such as ICSA or STEP Foundation.
• Strong knowledge of offshore trust and company administration practices and Guernsey’s regulatory environment.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to continuous learning.
