The Role
This permanent position is designed for an experienced Trust professional dedicated to delivering service excellence to a defined portfolio of clients. You will be integrated into a friendly, forward-thinking team responsible for the day-to-day administration of complex structures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Portfolio Management: Overseeing the set-up and maintenance of statutory records and client databases, ensuring accurate shareholder and beneficial owner information.
• Financial Administration: Ensuring bookkeeping accuracy, managing bank account openings/closings, and monitoring cash balances in line with Investment Review Committee recommendations.
• Investment & Tax Oversight: Reviewing various asset categories, maintaining Investment Policy Statements, and ensuring all structures are managed in accordance with professional tax advice.
• Client Engagement: Attending client meetings and preparing all necessary documentation to fulfill client instructions.
• Team Development: Providing guidance to junior staff, reviewing work for accuracy, and sharing technical knowledge to mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
• Technical Expertise: Sound technical knowledge within the Trust arena, including familiarity with registry requirements, corporate governance, and tax compliance.
• Qualifications: You should be professionally qualified (STEP or CGI) or currently working towards these designations, with a commitment to ongoing CPD.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
• Problem Solving: The ability to analyze complex issues and suggest appropriate solutions that align with business objectives and client service excellence.
