Description
Are you someone who thrives on building genuine connections and making a real difference in young people's lives? Axcis Education is working in partnership with a further education college in Radstock to find the right person to join their specialist support team.
This full-time role is based at the college’s SEN specialist centre, where you'll be working 1:1 with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and ADHD. The college has a dedicated centre for learners with high needs, and your role will be to help students feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate their education.
You don’t need to be a qualified teacher or have years of classroom experience. What matters most is your ability to listen, stay calm under pressure, and offer consistent encouragement. If you’re patient, empathetic, and have a genuine interest in helping young people overcome challenges, this could be the perfect fit.
The college has been recognised for its positive work with high-needs learners and is actively investing in further improvements to support students' personal development and wellbeing.
