Challenging Behaviour Mentor
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire. SN3
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary with the view to go permanent
About the Role:
Axcis Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Swindon, SN3, providing additional support to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in their resource base. You will be supporting students with additional needs, such as, autism and ADHD in a nurturing classroom environment, helping them manage behaviour, develop social skills, and stay engaged in their learning.
Requirements:
• Experience supporting children or vulnerable adults is required.
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable with a caring, supportive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other school staff.
• Capable of managing and supporting students with challenging behaviour in a calm, positive, and proactive manner.

• Personal experience (SEND)
• Graduates in psychology, sociology, sports, music, art, and drama are also encouraged to apply!
Additional Information:
• Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Pay: £89 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
• This role is permanent with the possibility of starting as temporary.
