Perfect Recruitment are working with a well-established business based in Chorley, who are looking to recruit a reliable and friendly Class 2 Cement Mixer Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver who is looking for a local, permanent driving role with no nights away.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of concrete to customers and sites across the local area, operating a cement mixer vehicle and providing a professional service to customers.
The majority of work is within approximately a 45-mile radius of Chorley, so this is very much a local driving role.
Typical working hours are around 6:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, although flexibility around start and finish times may be required depending on deliveries.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A qualified HGV Class 2 / Category C driver
• Experienced in driving HGVs commercially
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Comfortable working to delivery schedules
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and site teams
• Happy working as part of a close-knit team
• Based within a reasonable commuting distance of Chorley
Previous experience driving a cement mixer would be advantageous, but relevant HGV Class 2 experience will also be considered.
