A global provider of corporate, private client, tax and retirement planning services is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its Guernsey pensions division. This is a senior-level opportunity for a qualified finance professional with commercial acumen and leadership capability, offering the chance to manage a critical jurisdiction within a high-performing international group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial reporting for the Guernsey pensions business, producing management accounts and supporting quarterly reviews.
• Oversee financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and 3-year strategic plans.
• Manage relationships with the Mauritius shared service centre and oversee the quality of their transaction processing.
• Drive improvements to financial systems and reporting models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Maintain strong governance through audit oversight and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver commercial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Supervise and develop a local finance team while coordinating remote support (e.g., from Dubai).
• Maintain robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with group policy and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in financial leadership, ideally within pensions or financial services.
• Strong people management skills and the ability to influence across all levels.
• Excellent communication, analytical and system improvement skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to challenge and improve business performance.
