Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (Hybrid Working Available)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Car Allowance

About the Company
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join the renewables division of a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy. This growing team delivers commercial solar PV, battery storage and integrated renewable energy systems across the UK.

About the Role
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager looking to take full responsibility for delivering renewable energy projects ranging in value from £100,000 to £2 million. You will manage projects from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent organisational, leadership and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, scheduling, installation, commissioning and handover
• Develop and monitor project programmes, cost tracking and reporting
• Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards
• Manage budgets, project variations and payment applications
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships
• Lead regular progress meetings and ensure project milestones are met
• Support tendering and pre-construction activities when required
• Implement process improvements and drive subcontractor performance

Requirements
• Proven experience managing construction or building services projects. Renewable energy experience is beneficial but not essential
• Electrical background is desirable
• Strong project management and commercial skills
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and CDM regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• SMSTS, CSCS or similar site management certifications are an advantage
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK
