Join a dynamic and innovative fund administration team specialising in venture capital. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your accounting career in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This position forms part of the September intake program. Working within a collaborative team, the successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality bookkeeping and reporting services to a portfolio of venture capital clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake training to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients and fund structures.
• Support the bookkeeping, accounting and reporting for a tailored portfolio of venture capital funds.
• Assist in producing quarterly management accounts and annual audited accounts in line with IFRS and FRS102.
• Respond to audit requests and provide required data for tax reporting.
• Monitor client mailboxes and respond to ad hoc queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with the Fund Administration team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of records.
• Commit to professional studies, attending courses and completing exams toward qualification.
What You Need:
• A-level qualifications (or equivalent), or university education.
• English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong computer literacy and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• An interest in the financial services industry.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
