Description
Are you an experienced SEND teacher or a qualified teacher with a passion for special educational needs? Axcis Education is currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate SEND teachers to work in both primary and secondary settings across Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
We are looking for individuals who either hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have substantial experience working with children with SEND. Whether your background is in mainstream or specialist settings, your understanding of inclusive education, behaviour management, and differentiated teaching will be highly valued. You will be supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and communication challenges. The ideal candidate will be confident in planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to the unique needs and abilities of their pupils, fostering both academic progress and personal development.
In this role, you’ll be expected to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment, work collaboratively with support staff and therapists, and engage effectively with families and external agencies. A flexible, patient, and creative approach is essential, as is the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. Schools are located across Central London and offer supportive, well-resourced environments that are committed to providing high-quality, inclusive education.
Positions are available for immediate start or for the new academic year in September 2025. Full-time roles are available, with working hours typically from Monday to Friday during school terms. In return, Axcis Education offers competitive pay rates, opportunities for long-term and permanent positions, ongoing training and professional development, and the chance to be part of a growing network of SEND professionals.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your teaching journey and make a meaningful impact in the SEND sector, we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV to olga@axcis.co.uk
